Interactive Renderings makes 3D home configurators for home builders. This page explains what we collect when you use one, why, and who sees it.
What we collect
- When you save a design: your name, your email address, the name you give the design, the home plan, and the choices you made (options, colors and materials).
- When you contact us: your name, email, and anything else you choose to include, such as your company, phone number or message.
- On your device: the site keeps a few settings in your browser (for example, the design you are working on and the last home you opened) so you can pick up where you left off. These stay on your device.
- How you use the site: anonymous usage information, such as the pages, builders and home plans you open, how long you spend on them, the options and colors you try, the website that referred you, your device type (phone, tablet or computer), and your approximate location (city and region, estimated from your internet connection). It is tied to a random ID stored in your browser, not to your name or email, and we do not store your IP address with it.
- On our marketing website (www.interactiverenderings.com) we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the page, through heatmaps and recordings of mouse movement, clicks and scrolling. Clarity hides what you type into forms and uses cookies to tell visits apart. Microsoft's privacy statement covers its use of this data: privacy.microsoft.com.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting providers record basic technical details (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the service.
We do not use advertising cookies or sell your personal information.
How we use it
- To save your design and let you open it again later.
- To share your saved design with the home builder whose plan you designed, so they can follow up with you about your home.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To keep the service working, secure and improving.
- To measure how the service is used, and to give home builders summary reports (for example, which options and colors are chosen most on their plans). These reports do not identify you.
Who we share it with
- The home builder of the plan you saved. They receive your name, email and design choices, and may contact you. Their use of your information is covered by their own privacy policy.
- Service providers that run the service for us: website hosting, database and file storage, and email delivery. They process information only to provide those services.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
How long we keep it
We keep saved designs and contact requests for as long as they are useful to you and to the builder, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email PRIVACY-EMAIL and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor them.
To stop hearing from a builder about your design, contact the builder directly as well.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
This service is intended for adults shopping for a home. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
